Come out and Swap! Not Shop! with the purpose of getting rid of items and take home ‘new to you’ goodies. Anything from gently used clothes & shoes to household items can be swapped! Please be considerate about what you bring to swap we don’t want your junk and neither does anyone else. When you come to swap, you can bring one item or many items. We will separate everything into different piles and sections. Then you look through the piles and different tables and take as much as you want!
Check out this list of what you CAN and CAN’T bring:
– Men, women, and children’s clothing
– Bags and purses
– Non-perishable food
– Household items
– Movies and music
– Books and magazines
LEAVE THESE AT HOME:
– Anything considered JUNK!
– Dirty items
– UNDERWEAR, even if they’re clean!
– Broken items to the point they can’t be reused
– Random pieces of things
– Live animals
– Television Sets / Computer Monitors

Family Board Game Night -Wednesday April 2, 2014 6pm to 8pm
Family Craft Night – Tuesday April 8th , May 6th 2014 & 6pm to 8pm
Spring Cleaning? Keep the REC Center in mind – donations of board games for the upcoming Board Game night would be greatly appreciated! In addition, Wii games for use during the REC after school program would also be appreciated. You can drop them off at the REC center during their open hours after school.
Please join us for our Advisory Council Meeting on Wednesday evening, March 19th from 6pm – 7pm at the REC Center. All are welcome including kids.
Here is the Schedule for the 2013 – 2014 Power Full – Fun Days. These are days that school is closed but REC is available.
Please note that Charles Barrett REC center is not always open on such days and that care is available at other REC centers.
